A Place of Creation features 97 artists and 11 scholars who participated in the Lucid Art Foundation’s Residency Program to create, research, and explore while residing next to a nature preserve on the coast of Northern California. Since 2005, the Artist Residency has been a retreat into the solace of nature, allowing connection with deeper aspects of the self to invoke inspiration. Though diverse in their practices, the artists-in-residence share a similar intention of focusing on the integration of the inner and outer worlds.

This hardcover book is 260 pages long, has five color reproduction, and over 200 color plates. It was curated and co-designed by Fariba Bogzaran and co-designed and laid out by Victoria May.
