Hadley Radt creates a network of connections based on her impulse to construct order from natural and human-made environments. She states: "Even as I attempt to formulate routines of order in my pieces, the patterns start to become tangled, creating environments of organized chaos. Mistakes occur within my mark making, and my hand can be seen. I intentionally and unintentionally interrupt the systems I build, causing unexpected glitches that break the pattern. The errors make the work less mechanical, and instead, add a human quality.”

Radt is exploring terrains of connections; physical, psychological, emotional, and neurological. She is interested in the depiction of these webs and tracking layers of information. Radt received numerous awards, including the Edwin Anthony & Adalaine Boudreaux Cadogan Scholarship in 2016. She’s exhibited extensively throughout the Bay Area. Radt was born in 1995, and she lives and works in Rohnert Park, California.
