Neil Enggist is a painter. He states: “art is my spiritual practice, the movement of sadness, the glimpses of joy, the exploration of the light and dark matter of consciousness…the highest ideal for my work would be to lead a viewer to their own idea of infinity and provide the wonder and mystery to propel the viewer through the door, beyond concept, into a space of illumination, harmonic union, and transformation…the poetry and painting that I seek forms a direct experience of the colors of the void, to ‘make the visible invisible’….My work enacts the co-emergence of spiritual and ecological circles, exploring the space where communication becomes possible between life worlds.”

Enggist’s work has been exhibited across the U.S. and the world. He was raised in Princeton, New Jersey, and lives and works between New York, Switzerland, and Lisbon.
